This year we decided to travel for the Holiday. Our Smoky Mountain Christmas family vaca was a much needed vaca and one of the best family vacations we’ve ever taken. The scenery was magical and us Floridians enjoyed a white Christmas. It snowed Christmas eve and we were crazy excited about it (it doesn’t take much to thrill us when we are use to 80 degree weather during the Holiday season). I’ve decided we should make the trip to this cozy cabin in the mountains annually.
It was a vacation that was good for the soul. I was sick for most of the vacation but that didn’t stop me for having a great time and soaking up the scenery. The view was simply too stunning not to share. Here are a few of my favorite photos from our trip to Gatlinburg.
I shared a handful of photos on Instagram and Facebook while we were gone. I simply couldn’t help but share our Christmas view! Some of my favorite things were not photographed; tons of laughter, playing games with the family, hugging my sister multiple times and Christmas movie marathons.
If you haven’t spent a week in the Smoky Mountains you should. I also highly recommend the moonshine and whiskey sampling, wink wink.
