Recently I met up with my mom bestie and we did a quick photo shoot in downtown Sanford, a mutual downtown for the both of us. Historic Sanford is beautiful and one of our favorite places. Snapping photos in this area felt natural as it’s a place my family has always been comfortable at.
I am a simple girl, like t-shirt kinda gal, but from I also enjoy a good skirt. This skirt, deemed the fancy skirt because I’m such a simple gal, is my go-to skirt style. Flowy, sheer, waistband… I mean does a skirt get any better than that? I purchased this skirt over a year ago and don’t see it leaving my closet any time soon. Enjoy a few fun shots taken in downtown Sanford with my favorite fancy skirt and my favorite clothing colors.
A shot where the Farmers Market is held was a must. If you haven’t visited the small town of Sanford and you’re in the Orlando area I highly recommend it. The Sanford Fire House recently opened up as an airbnb and it is darling, ya’ll! I’m a fan of things with character and downtown Sanford has just that. From historic buildings to fun shops like Wondermade (a marshmallow and sweets shop) to the lake side walking path, this little town is precious.
When my family moved to Orlando 7 years ago we lived on the East side near UCF where my husband attended college and truth zone we did not like living over there at all. When he finished college and we moved out of our teeny tiny apartment we made our way to a very different side of Orlando. This side of the Orlando world is where it’s at.
I have my Mickey ears on for a fun upcoming project but not so secretly wish I could wear them daily. Nothing wrong with that right?
Until next time, Sanford.
